The penthouse is at the third floor of the ancient palace (equal to the fifth floor of a
modern building), with elevator. It is very quiet and bright. Although we
did our best, our photographs could not do entirely justice to this unique
property. A little and fine foyer introduces
both to the sleeping and living quarters.

Sitting / dining room |
From the foyer, by means of a little
flight of stairs of just a few steps one enters the elegantly decorated sitting / dining
room. There are three sofas, a table and chairs for six persons, bookshelves, tables,
cupboard and small tables, a rack with a record player. Notably, there is a large and
perfectly working fireplace (a rarity in Rome). There are vintage furnitures, and fine
paintings / prints.
The sitting room brings on one side to the first of the three panoramic terraces of the
roof garden (through the open door in the photo).

Sitting / dining room - opposite
view |
On the other side, there is another
large window, facing the internal courtyard of the palazzo. Finally, there is another
window on top of the fireplace, towards West.
| The result
is that also from the windows of the sitting room you have panoramic views of Rome, with
different perspectives, and particularly towards NortWest (especially of the domes of
Sant'Andrea della Valle and of St. Peter - right photo). Right: Night view of St. Peter from the window on top of the
fireplace
