View towards South-Southwest.
From left to right: Palazzo Venezia (the brownish palace in the background), the internal
part of the second section of the Palazzo in the foreground, and behind both the Altare
della Patria (Altar of the Fatherland, more known as Vittoriale, dedicated to King Victor
Emanuel II, celebrating the reunion of Italy of 1860 AD), and also the dome and the body
of the Chiesa del Gesu', the main church of the Jesuite order. There follows the dome of
the Sinagogue, and those of the Basilica of the EUR, and of the Palace of
"Civilisation of Work" (still at the EUR). |
