Landing

(a) Landing

The entrance of the apartment and of the third patio.

(b) The entrance of the apartment and of the third patio.

The palace is very mannerly and elegant, with concierge (portier) and old fashioned wooden-panel elevator. As soon as one steps out from the elevator (last floor), one finds an elegant landing (photo a), with paintings, furniture, and vases. After one short flight of stairs, the entrance of the Valentino apt. appears. An iron-wrought door security gate brings to the landing right in front of door of the apartment, which is elegant, with vases, and a set of drawers (photo b). This photo shows also the door to the third patio of the apt., smaller than the others, and with vases with plants.

Plan of the terrace - roof garden

From the larger patio (facing the sitting room and the kitchen) a little flight of stairs (arrow in the left photo), brings to the terrace-roof garden, which is situated right on top of the apartment, having thus its same extension. As soon as you step in the panoramic roof garden you can see the most stunning views of Rome in front of you.
